🚀 What’s New?
We are proud to introduce Identity and Onboarding v2, a major upgrade designed to support complex business hierarchies and streamline compliance through automation.
- Complex Entity Management: You can now define intricate relationships between users, specifically creating parent-child structures where Sub-business Individuals and Businesses operate as child entities.
- End-to-End Automated eKYC: We have transitioned from manual workflows to a fully automated verification process. This update removes operational bottlenecks, allowing for real-time validation of user identities and corporate structures.
✨ Enhancements
The Identity and Onboarding APIs have been expanded to provide greater flexibility in how user entities and compliance are handled.
Identity & Onboarding v2 API Updates:
- Parent-Child Relationships: Added the ability to create and manage parent-child relationships. Sub-business individuals and business entities can now be onboarded as children of a parent user entity.
- Associated Parties: New capabilities to create business-associated parties—such as Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), Directors, and Shareholders—and directly link them to a business entity.
eKYC Capabilities:
- Individual Onboarding: Enabled fully automated processing for individual users. From document submission to liveness checks, the system now instantly verifies identity without requiring manual back-office approval.
- Business Onboarding: Enabled automated corporate verification. The system now automatically validates business registration details against reliable data sources, significantly reducing the time to activate business accounts.
- Business Associated Party KYC: Enabled automated screening for associated parties (UBOs, Directors, Shareholders). These individuals are now automatically screened against global sanctions and watchlist databases as part of the business onboarding workflow.
⚠️ Important Note
Enabling these new capabilities requires a program configuration upgrade. Our Implementation and Customer Growth teams will evaluate and will reach out to you individually when your program is identified as a candidate for this upgrade.
