Create your card product
Build the perfect white-label card for your customers.
The MatchMove platform allows the flexibility to have multiple card products for a given program. You can choose and design multiple card products and manage the assignment of these cards to your users as needed. The guide below lists the building blocks of the card program.
The account type cannot be controlled at a card product level. All card products for the given program have the same associated account types and hence follow the same funding model.
1
Choose your form factor
It is important to decide what card form factor you issue, as this impacts your integration workflow and the sequence of API calls you need to orchestrate. Physical cards also impact how you design your customer journeys.
2
Choose your distribution strategy
If you choose to issue physical cards, determining the journey from the delivery of cards to the end user to the point of activation is critical to establish.
3

Design your dream card
All designs that are created need to follow the brand guidelines of the network as applicable for the specific card product you are subscribing to. You have significant freedom in terms of designing the card to be branded uniquely for your customers, but you do need to adhere to imposed Card network guidelines.
The following sections are basic guidelines that must be followed in designing your card.
Virtual card art guidelines
Virtual card art guidelines
For virtual card design, all artwork must adhere to a horizontal orientation. In cases where the physical card is designed in a vertical format, the elements must be appropriately rearranged to fit a horizontal layout. The non-tokenized card art is the image used in the application or website to represent the actual card. The following mandatory elements must appear on the front-facing design of the non-tokenized card. Reach out to your Implementation Manager to get the applicable template approved by the Network.
Required Elements
- Partner's Brand/Co-brand Logo - Positioned at the upper left-hand corner.
- MasterCard Logo - Positioned at the lower right-hand section.
- Cardholder Name - Displayed prominently on the card art design.
- Full 16-Digit Card Number (PAN) - A placeholder 16-digit number must be displayed.
- CVC - The card verification code.
- Expiry Date/Valid Thru - The card's expiration date.
- Card Type Identifier - For example, the term "business" (in lowercase) may be used for specific Card BINs (as advised by MM).
Prohibited Elements
- PayWave icon
- Chip image/icon
Additional Considerations
- If the Name, PAN, Expiry Date, and CVC are not displayed on the front of the virtual card art, they must be located near the card art within the app interface.
- In instances where the card art is designed to simulate a flip animation (representing both the front and back of the physical card), the Name, PAN, Expiry Date, and CVC may be placed on the back side, leaving the front side clean with only the Partner and MasterCard logos visible.
Approval Process
All card art designs are subject to the network's approval before they can be used or displayed digitally on the app or website.

Print your card
Work with the Implementation Team to decide the cadence at which the card orders are printed and shared with you, to be distributed to your cardholder. Do discuss with your implementation manager the options available for you. You can choose multiple options, ranging from the kind of printing to the welcome kit that is sent to you as part of the printed card kit.

Configure your card product
As part of the platform product setup, you have the flexibility of defining granular controls on various attributes of your card product. You are recommended to align the number of products you need, as well as the segmentation and feature controls you want to implement for your end users.
Configure your card issuance limits
How many cards do you want to be issued to a user for a given card product?
How many cards do you want to be issued to the user in total?
The system is limited to issuing 50 cards per user created in the system
Configure your card fee schedule
Decide on your fee schedule for each card program. As a partner, you have the option of configuring markup for any of the following fee line items
Configure restrictions on your card program
Note that the platform will decline these transactions, but you are still obligated to pay the decline fees for these transactions. Work with your implementation manager to decide the best approach
In addition to the default restrictions configured on the platform as part of the regulatory requirements, you have the flexibility to configure additional restrictions based on :
- MID (Merchant ID)
- TID (Terminal ID)
- MCC (Merchant Category Code)
You can use this opportunity to restrict the same, depending on your use case.
